healing + inspiring through story

speaking + workshops + collaborations

the role of the artist is to make the revolution irresistible.

inspire (v.):

to breathe or put life or spirit into the human body; impart reason to a human soul

the dualities and binaries we are constantly asked to limit ourselves to are not enough and do not truly represent what is available to us. life is almost never either/or. it is almost always both/and. i live, work, play, and love in the tension and creative possibility of paradox, the gray, the in-between–-and so do the best stories.

i bring honest, engaging, illuminating, and embodied storytelling through poetry and other creative arts that give us tangible tools for healing. i perform:

because of my spirit

for my heart

with my mind

through my body

the whole of me brings grace, humour, vulnerability, and a sense of freedom and love that enables audiences to turn toward each other. to commune means to be in a heightened state of receptivity, to make free and open, and to share and communicate intimately. i am gifted in helping create community where there is none and deepening the sense of belonging and togetherness where some connection already exists. this is a large part of the core of my work as a healing artist.

i will begin performing my new show, i want you to want me’—my first curated collection of poetry written for spoken word, this summer. to inquire about booking the show for your venue or event or to get in touch regarding another exciting collaboration, please fill out the form below or contact me directly at chb@cathbradley.com
